The Unobtainable: A never ending road to success

Aim high and fail often. Setting the unreachable goal and chasing like a mad man is the price to success. Starting to feel the stress on my shoulders carrying a ton of weights dragging me down. That seems to be the price to pay. All those sleepless nights mindlessly calculating millions of ways to failure in the hope to find a slimmer of hope. Let me tell you, it is tough. My mind is in overdrive. Even with a six figure income, it is nearly impossible to get ahead. My goal is $50,000 dollars in retirement for this year alone, standing by my $32,000 brand new Mazda CX-5 with a half a million dollar house behind me. That is my goal this year. It is laughable and near impossible to accomplish, yet attempted I try. After adding all my budgets including tax while excluding the house, I would have only saved 16 thousand dollars. Combining that with all my savings, it is not even close to the 20% down payment. Needless to say, I'm in a pickle. I'm giving it all I got. With a semi-...

Entrapped in darkness: The nightmares from all sides

The monsters in the closet unbeknownst to us has creeped into our minds. No longer are we in fear of existential threat but of unsatisfactory dream. It has gradually morphed into despair  which lingers over us  through the passage of time. It is the past that can never be changed but we hope to obtain in the future. The dichotomy of the past and the future summons dark demons that would crawled towards us at night. The nightmares that would forever entrap us. We should have slain the monster in the closet. The monster did exist. We all have seen it with our own eyes. It was there in the past. It is no longer here and will never be here in the future. Yet, the monster named regret still lives in the closet. We are our own worst enemy. We elected to summon those demons. Crawling aro...

Let's face it: The world will never end

Dragonlance Chronicle: my favorite book during high school.           Tanis was one of the character i secretly admire because......it is the easiest name to remember. Other than that i had always wanted to become a magician much like Raistlin with the exception of his creepy looks. I want to be able to bend time and throw fireball at others. I want to go on an adventure and explore the mist of time: going over hills, obliterating the very essence of evil, enjoying pines of beers, enduring the longing of pain and battles, and roaring to the time of victory. I want a set of companions that is willing to fight till the end. The importance of trust and friendship and the willingness to sacrifice for others. Love of course is always a part of a good fairy-tale. The falling in love and belonging together forever and ever.           That's why i secretly hope the world would end and be rebuilt to a new profound wonder. A w...
